Tomato Tahini Dressing

The only way having a salad every day before most meals without getting bored is to get creative with salad dressings. I use this recipe almost every day, except I rarely blend it. I simply add the ingredients to a bowl with greens. However, when blended, the flavor is more consistent throughout the salad and even more accentuated and delicious. This sauce is light and raw and will bring a little party to your salad bowl.

Tomato Tahini Dressing

Prep Time: Less than 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp tahini
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce (nama shoyu)
  • 1 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1-inch nob fresh ginger
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

Combine all ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth.

Enjoy with some salad greens and store the rest to enjoy over the next few days.

    I am all about tahini dressing! Usually I just put a little bit of lemon, garlic and olive oil in it, but this would be a great recipe for the summer when I have lots of tomatoes to use!

    This looks delicious, but what is a “nob” of garlic? Is that supposed to say “ginger?” Also, what are your thoughts on using Bragg’s Liquid Aminos instead of soy sauce?
