Almonds, Dates, and Chocolate

…are just a few of my favorite things.

Instead of down in three, why not down in one?

Three ingredients: 1 almond per 1 date and your favorite chocolate, melted.

Simply pit the dates, keeping them relatively intact. Replace the pit with a raw, roasted or spiced almond.

Melt the chocolate (I used 72% dark) in a saucepan and dip the side of the date you used to remove the pit into the chocolate. Sort of like licking the envelope closed, only with chocolate.

Place on parchment paper.

Pop into the freezer. And about 5 minutes later…
