With just two ingredients and a dash of salt, you have yourself a vegan, homemade caramel sauce without the white sugar. It’s sweet, creamy and something to write home about. You won’t miss the standard, I promise.
The trick to getting the caramel taste is by heating up dates until their sugars develop. With the coconut milk backdrop, a creamy and decadent result is ensured!
Dates: are excellent in the development of muscles and are thus beneficial for recovery, are useful in preventing abdominal cancer, are packed with fiber, contain beneficial electrolytes, and fight against intestinal disorders, weight gain, heart problems, sexual weakness and diarrhea. Dates are also a mild laxative, a remedy for intoxication (hello hangover cure!), and prevent sterility. Muslims break their fast by eating dates and water, because this tradition helps them to avoid overeating at the first meal.
