These are just as sloppy as the traditional Sloppy Joes recipe, and you won’t miss the meat! I must say, growing up I was not a fan of Sloppy Joes, in the least. I didn’t like the taste of them, although they were quite fun to bite at. This recipe, however, will be loved by Sloppy Joe haters and lovers alike. It is packed with flavor, spice, bite and “meatiness”, but without the meat. Sure, the Sloppy Joes reference is more due to its appearance and overall sloppy look than similar flavor, but hey, it’s cruelty-free and served alongside sweet potato hash browns, so I’m not complaining. Enjoy!
Serve alongside hash browns for even more glow:
Sweet potato: is high in vitamin B6 that helps reduce degenerative diseases, is packed with vitamin C and D, helps maintain skin’s youthful elasticity, contributes to healthy bones, heart, nerves, skin, and teeth, supports the thyroid gland, contains iron for white cell production, stress reduction and immune function, works as an anti-stress and relaxing agent due to its magnesium content, regulates heartbeat and nerve signals with potassium, has sugars that are slowly released into the bloodstream and thus don’t cause sugar spikes, and are high in carotenoids and antioxidants to help ward off cancer.
These really are the perfect complement: hash browns recipe.
Meanwhile, all you have to do is make the best roasted vegetables in the world, mix in 1 tablespoon of vegan ketchup, and scoop onto a big bun. Serve and let things get sloppy.
Is your mouth watering yet?
Enjoy!
Bon Appetit!
